Barb Everdene

MCSP Coordinator, Municipal Collaborative for Sustainable Procurement

Barb Everdene is a registered professional planner with a background in environmental, social and Indigenous planning and activism in Canada and internationally, and holds a masters degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of British Columbia. In her current role at Reeve Consulting, she collaborates on sustainable procurement projects and coordinates the Municipal Collaboration for Sustainable Procurement, a member-based network of Canadian higher education and other public-sector institutions.
She is a market development specialist with agricultural value chain mapping, research and project design experience in an international context. She has designed and delivered a broad range of innovative, context-driven labour market assessment and community economic development programs to stimulate employment and raise incomes for equity-seeking groups in challenging environments.
