Board Chairman, Global Ecolabelling Network
Bjorn-Erik Lonn is the current Chairman of the Global Ecolabelling Network Board of Directors. Bjorn-Erik was appointed general manager of Nordic Ecolabelling Board in 1994 and has been senior adviser on issues with contacts outside the Nordic countries and with other labelling schemes since 2013. He holds a Master of Science from the University of Helsinki in fish toxicology. He was previously the general secretary for a sports fishermen’s Association in Finland and then a senior engineer at Norway’s biggest sewage treatment plant near Oslo.
