Jessian has researched how to trick people to try new things since 1999. By day, she co-creates laws and contracts, and manages SFApproved.org, a site of green products she helped create at San Francisco Department of Environment. She has also redesigned GreenCitiesCalifornia.org, including kits to help anyone create green policies and programs.
By night, she serves on the board of EarthIsland.org. It grows grassroots leaders such as Plastic Pollution Coalition and publishes the investigative Earth Island Journal, which won awards for stories not covered by larger media outlets. And she shares tips and policies to create a happy, equitable, green world at FunAndDraconian.com.
