Research Associate, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
Liyang is a Research Associate in the Building Technology & Urban Systems Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. She supports the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) in increasing the adoption of energy efficiency technologies and overcoming the institutional barriers regarding clean technology procurement. Prior to joining Berkeley Lab, Liyang was a consultant for a major East Coast utility, where she managed an energy efficiency incentive program, implemented energy efficiency measures in commercial buildings, and conducted technical assessments of emerging energy technologies. She is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
