Public Affairs Director, UL
Mark Rossolo is the global director of public affairs for UL Environment where he leads strategic partnerships, outreach and advocacy efforts. A founding Board member of the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council (SPLC), Mark has a long history of working to promote and increase green purchasing globally. Mark is a sought-after resource on green building and sustainable procurement and has given speeches and training sessions globally on indoor air quality, green purchasing and sustainability. Mark has background in sustainability, green procurement and public policy. He currently serves on the Strategic Advisory Committee for SPLC, the Corporate Advisory Board for the World Green Building Council, Advisory Board for the Healthy Facilities Institute, and recently concluded a 2-year term on the Board of Directors for the Interior Design Collaborative-OR. Previously Mark worked for the Green Building Initiative where he helped develop the first ANSI certified green building rating system in the U.S.
