Manager, Supply Chain, Environmental Defense Fund
Matt Lyon is a Supply Chain Manager on the EDF+Biz team. He works primarily in the areas of Deforestation and Fertilizer Use, engaging with companies to develop policies and make progress on sustainability goals. Prior to joining EDF, Matt consulted retail and restaurant companies on their animal agriculture sustainability policies. He spent four years at The Sustainability Consortium, developing sustainability tools for companies to measure and improve their supply chains. He holds a Master of Public Service from the Clinton School, and a Master of Business Administration from the Walton College at the University of Arkansas. While pursuing his dual masters, Matt lived in northern India with the Pan Himalayan Grassroots Development Foundation, where he worked with rural communities on best practices for renewable energy, water & sanitation, community forestry, and enterprise development. In his free time, Matt enjoys hiking, camping, live music, and scuba diving in far-flung locales.
